Snow Planet

Wow when I got my boots it was soo hard to put it on and about 3 minutes I got it. Then we got our gloves and mine were stinky it smelt like toe jams but I wore it anyways. We got our helmets and then went inside it was so slippery and cold. One of the workers told us to come and then we listened to her speak and then she told us to go and have fun. I went on this slay thing and I tried it about 4 times and then went on floater thing and there was like a ice slide and I went on that one about 6 times and we went back to school. I thought we were gonna go Snow boarding or Skiing but we did not.

Mud Run

  This week we went on a trip to the mud run Tennis Club Once we got there I was amazed how it was nearly surrounded by trees and plants. It was cool as there wasn't that many houses just the ones that were being built I got out to find that there a heap of kids I was very nervous because it was my first time. We quickly rushed out of the van to get a nice taste of the place and it was amazing when we went towards the crowd and where it was gonna start we were nervous happy and most of all we felt like this would be  fun and we were warming up for the mud run event. Once the event started we were all moved to the starting line 50 kids were allowed to go at a time.

Once we were in the front of the line we jogged then Me and Sione sprinted there was a slippery bridge and then Sione started to slow down and Soane(Other friend) caught up with me and Marshall we went up a hill over a fence and ran down a hill. There was sticky mud and Marshall got his shoe stuck in it, But me and Soane keep on running. We finally made it to the finish and waited for the other Glenbrae Students.
Then we had something to eat while the man hosting was calling out names to come and pick a prize, unlucky for me I wasn't chosen but at least 2 students from our school were picked. Then we got in the van and drove back to school, it was an amazing experience and I hope that one day we will do a mud run again.

Today for Gymnastics

This week we had kiwi sport we were learning different ways to stretch our body's. These ways would benefit our body's when done. The positions were Tuck-Sit, L-sit, Straddle, Happy cat, Angry cat, motor-bike-landing. These positions would help you in many ways to stretch different parts of your body you could also learn other ways also. We also learnt how to handstand but some of us students are still young and flexible it was quite easy for most of us.
