Math Work Shop.

 Today for math we were learning about decimals, percentages and fractions. We were divided into four groups and we were given different task problems. My group task was to find out the problem to a pizza with fractions decimals and percentages look like physically we used all kinds of things that was in our sight. It was fun doing this problem as it was fun and interesting me and my group thought we couldn't do this but we did we tried and got it done. After a few moments we needed to share what we got each of my group members shared what they have done to solve the problem.

What I learnt from this task is that you can use multiple ways to find the answer and solve the problem using physical things I also had fun doing this because it shows how people learn and how they show what they learnt.

Kiwican

 Today at Kiwican we went to the hall and then sat on the floor and started talking resilience and about emotions. The first emotion we talked about was mad. Then we got up and played a game called EMOTION STATUES. There was a creator and a statue the creator had to make an action for the statue for example angry you make the statues face look angry and its body look angry too.  I was the creator for my friend Sione and he was the statue then we switched.

After we sat on the ground and talked about Feelings and Emotions. After that our Kiwican leader(Miss B) told us a story about her parents Emotions. It was about when she was 16 and her parents got her a Ferrari and she only had her learners licence. She could only drive her car with a person that had a full licence all of her brothers and sisters had there full licence but she did not. Miss B was hungry and she checked the fridge for food but there was nothing in it then she wanted to go and get some Mac Donald's  it was just down the road so she went to go and get some. When she came back she saw the green light turn orange and she went faster and there was a police behind her and she got pulled over and got a fine. she went home and she knew she could not pay for it so she told her mum and dad once they saw it she got in trouble and a wack.

Then we got up and played another game called DON'T PLAY WITH MY EMOTIONS. We had to make a little script and Miss B gave a group an emotion to act we got angry and yeah that's all for kiwican.
